About the Role
Searcys are seeking a Pastry Chef to join a dynamic team at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), a magnificent Georgian venue set in five acres of gardens in the heart of London.
As part of this prestigious venue, your expertise will be integral to crafting fine-quality desserts and delivering exceptional culinary experiences across a diverse range of events—from bespoke fine dining dinners to large-scale corporate parties and outdoor gatherings. Key Responsibilities
Working at The HAC, you will need to be highly adaptable, as the venue hosts multiple concurrent events across multiple floors.
As the Pastry Chef, you will:
- Hold sole responsibility for all desserts and pastries across events.
- Ensure consistency and impeccable quality in all culinary offerings.
- Manage food and produce ordering, stock control, and waste tracking to monitor costs.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and cost menus, staying aligned with industry trends.
- Provide additional culinary support across other station teams as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
- Preference for candidates with 5-star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant experience.
- Strong teamwork ethos and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.

Additional Details
- Contract hours: 20 hours per week
- Rate: £19.50 per hour
- Schedule: Mostly Monday to Friday.
