About the Role

Job Type: Permanent Role Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday – Friday) Requirements:
- Full Manual UK Drivers Licence
- Pass Full Enhanced DBS Check
- Willingness to undertake some weekend work
- Ability to travel out of hours and frequently away from home Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) compliant with the latest IET Code of Practice
- Deliver high-quality results meeting client and external accreditation standards
- Manage appliance testing in strict adherence to Health & Safety Regulations
- Liaise effectively with clients to ensure work meets expectations whilst minimising disruption to their businesses (industries include schools, hospitals, hotels, and universities).

Administrative Duties:
- Operate efficiently with Microsoft Office (proficient use required)
- Submit weekly reports via laptop/tablet/computer (download + send to PAT Team HQ)
- Manage time independently whilst adhering to scheduled assignments from Head Office
Requirements & Skills
- Essential: Full Manual UK Drivers Licence, Enhanced DBS Check
- Hardworking, competent, and reliable with strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Familiarity with I.T and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse environments
- Professional demeanour – compliance with uniform standards mandatory

Location & Travel
Access to company vehicle essential. Some out-of-street hours work, weekend assignments, and sleepaway travel (Mon-Fri) are required.
