Patient Access Manager

Location: Central London, London Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week (Monday–Friday) Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive with benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits, and career development)

About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Access Manager to join our team—an opportunity to become integral to the UK’s largest private healthcare provider. Currently experiencing sustained growth, we are searching for an individual aligned with our vision.

This role leads the management and development of high-quality, customer-responsive patient services—maximising revenue capture while contributing to the Hospital’s Business Plan. As a Patient Access Manager, you will be much more than a team leader—you'll be part of a purpose-driven organisation that impacts lives daily.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in facilitating seamless patient journeys and delivering world-class customer service.
  • Ensure maximum Revenue Cycle performance, driving financial accountability in Patient Access.
  • Recruit, appraise, and develop Patient Access Leaders, fostering team growth.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Senior Management Team (SMT) to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory policies, internal audits, and financial guidelines.
  • Guard knowledge of Hospital procedures and communicate updates effectively to teams.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships with service users and internal/international teams.
  • Oversee budget management and contribute to annual financial planning.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated Management & Administration experience, ideally in healthcare.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with emphasis on empathy, persuasion, and influence.
  • Professional competency in work ethic, reliability, and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and credibility in collegial environments.
