Role Description
The Patient Account Executive (Finance) is a part-time, on-site role based in Westhill. We are open to Full Time opportunities. This role is responsible for managing credit control, patient accounts, including billing, invoicing, and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial transactions.

Day-to-day tasks include
- Verifying insurance and funding details
- Preparing and reconciling statements
- Following up on outstanding balances
- Responding to patient and corporate client queries about charges and payments
The Patient Account Executive will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth financial workflows, maintain up-to-date records, and adhere to relevant policies and regulations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a respectful, patient-centered service.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and accounting skills, including billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping.
- Preferred - Experience with medical or healthcare finance processes, such as insurance verification, patient account management, and handling confidential financial information.
- Proficient in using practice management or accounting software, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, email systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, corporate clients, and internal teams in a clear, professional manner. This role does involve face-to-face exposure to clients and patients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management to handle multiple accounts and deadlines accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in Westhill, collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and maintain high standards of integrity and discretion.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, or customer-facing finance role is advantageous.
- Relevant qualification or training in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is beneficial.
