Join our dedicated team at GenesisCare UK, based at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Windsor, and help us transform cancer care through exceptional patient administration support.
The Role
Patient Administration Officer is a critical role focused on ensuring seamless patient enablement in our leading private oncology services provider.
As our Patient Administration Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Processing patient referrals efficiently while complying with GenesisCare policies
- Coordination of appointment booking for Radiotherapy, Outpatient clinics, Chemotherapy, and Diagnostics (including Theranostics at Windsor centre)
- Providing exceptional customer care to patients and visitors

The role commences on a permanent full-time basis (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri) at our centre in Windsor.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with consultants and secretaries to support the patient referral pathway
- Act as the primary point of contact for all patients, ensuring professional, efficient service delivery
- Confirm receipt of referrals and full patient registration for:
- Radiotherapy services
- Outpatient clinic appointments
- Chemotherapy procedures
- Diagnostics
- Medi-assisted Theranostics (Windsor only)

- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Proven experience in managing busy reception areas
- Customer-facing role history in environments requiring tact, patience, and empathy
- Strong relationship-building skills with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in varied administrative duties relevant to healthcare or service-oriented sectors

- Empathetic, holistic approach to patient care that ensures physical and emotional well-being
- Ability to resolve patient complaints or concerns satisfactorily, sensitively, and efficiently
- Collaborative problem-solving skills within a dynamic team environment
- Adaptability to multi-tasking workloads in a high-volume administrative setting
Advantages
- Experience with the MOSAIQ IT package will be prioritised
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Background in the healthcare industry, particularly oncology or cancer support services
