Patient Advisor Job Description
Location & Work Arrangements
- Location: Plymouth (must be flexible to work weekends)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: £26,500 plus bonus

About the Role
Our Patient Advisors ensure patients feel comfortable and relaxed while providing a 5-star service. The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy meeting new people
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with patients and ophthalmic professionals
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties may vary, but a typical role includes:


Get help with your application

- Building a strong relationship with our patients
- Performing diagnostic eye scans (full training provided)
- Confidently relaying patient information to optometrists for a seamless journey
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records
- Arranging affordable finance options tailored to individual patients
- Scheduling consultations and surgeries with optometrists and surgeons
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
- Be driven and passionate, with a willingness to succeed
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong negotiation abilities
- Be self-motivated, able to work with and without supervision
- Exhibit strong organisational skills
- Be commercially aware while delivering world-class customer service
