Cumbria Medical Services - Patient Booking Coordinator

Cumbria Medical Services is looking to recruit a Patient Booking Coordinator. Primarily the Booking Coordinator ensures the effective management of all incoming NHS referrals using the E-Referral system and ensures that adequate clinic slots are available at all times.

The role also involves handling of patient enquiries and requests courteously and efficiently and maintaining confidentiality of any information in connection with the work. Carrying out other administrative tasks as the need arises, either to comply with current service regulations or accepted current medical practice, or for the best interests of the service to patients.

  • This is a permanent position for 3 days a week/22.5Hrs.
  • The working days/pattern will be discussed with the successful applicant, but you must be able to work Fridays to cover the service.
  • Our basic salary is £13.75 per hour, which may rise, dependent on the skills and experience of the candidates.
