About Us
JD Healthcare Group is one of the UK's leading fertility and reproductive healthcare providers, operating brands including London Women's Clinic, London Egg Bank, London Sperm Bank, KindIVF, Surrey Park Women's Clinic and Elective Egg Freezing across the United Kingdom. Since 1985, we have been supporting individuals and families through some of the most significant journeys of their lives — combining world-class clinical expertise with genuine human care. Everything we do is driven by a shared purpose: helping people build the families they dream of.
About The Role
As a Patient Care Coordinator at JD Healthcare, you will be the primary point of contact for fertility patients following their initial consultation — guiding them through what can be a complex, emotional and life-changing process with clarity, compassion and consistency. Working at the heart of a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, consultants, embryologists and the finance department, you will ensure every patient feels genuinely supported, informed and cared for at every stage of their journey. This is a role that demands exceptional communication skills, real empathy and strong organisational ability — and one where the difference you make to patients and their families is felt every single day.
What You Will Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for fertility patients throughout their treatment journey, providing consistent guidance, reassurance and responsive support
- Maximise patient conversion to treatment by providing clear, relevant information that supports informed decision-making, alongside timely and proactive follow-up
- Serve as a central liaison between clinical and administrative teams, ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated patient experience at every touchpoint
- Develop and manage proactive communication systems that reduce reliance on patients to initiate contact — ensuring they feel guided and supported at every stage
- Build and maintain a strong support framework for patients by collaborating closely with senior management and multidisciplinary teams
- Enhance the overall patient experience by incorporating feedback to continuously improve service quality and patient relationships
- Handle departmental administrative tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong organisation and attention to detail
- Contribute innovative ideas to optimise the patient journey and improve departmental effectiveness
- Support at clinic events such as open days, contributing to continuous improvement and an exceptional patient experience (occasional weekend or bank holiday cover required)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
