Dental Receptionist (Part-Time, Monday, Tuesday & Friday, 28 Hours Per Week)

Location: Tovey Little Dental Centre https://toveylittle.co.uk/

28 hours per week | Monday, Tuesday & Friday

Additional hours may be available in the future if desired.

Join Our Friendly Front-of-House Team

We're looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist (or a Dental Nurse with reception experience) to join our welcoming team at Tovey Little Dental Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and can help support the continued growth of our practice through outstanding customer service and patient care. About Our Practice

At Tovey Little Dental Centre, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dental care in a friendly, professional environment. Our experienced team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive experience for every patient who visits us.

The Role

Working Monday, Tuesday and Friday (28 hours per week), you'll be the friendly face that welcomes our patients and the reassuring voice they speak to on the phone. You'll play a key role in ensuring every patient enjoys a smooth and positive journey from their first enquiry through to their treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient appointments, diaries, records and payments.
  • Providing a warm, professional welcome and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
  • Answering telephone and online enquiries, helping convert enquiries into appointments.
  • Discussing treatment options, finance and membership plans with confidence where appropriate.
  • Keeping patient records accurate and up to date.
  • Liaising closely with clinicians and the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
  • Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative duties.
  • Promoting dental treatments, membership plans and practice services.
  • Managing and creating engaging content for the practice's social media channels.
  • Responding to online enquiries and helping maintain the practice's online presence.
  • Assisting with practice marketing initiatives and patient events when required.
  • Maintaining a tidy, organised reception area and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the front desk.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Nurse with reception experience.
  • Sales experience is desirable. You'll be confident discussing treatments, converting enquiries into appointments and helping patients understand their options.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using dental software, Microsoft Office and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • A friendly, professional and proactive approach with a genuine passion for patient care.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
