We’re seeking an energised and ambitious Patient Engagement Lead to join our team at HMP Leeds and contribute to life-changing healthcare within our secure environments.


Hours & Salary

🔹 Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, core business hours 💵 Salary: £29,264 – £33,510 (per annum, depending on experience)

What You’ll Do

As the Patient Engagement Lead, your role demands a proactive and adaptable approach. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving patient engagement through service user forums, peer-led initiatives, and proactive feedback loops—ensuring activities are purposeful, responsive and meet patients’ needs and priorities.
  • Overseeing Health Champion peer support models, including training delivery across the region and critical feedback management.
  • Enhancing statistical and organisational compliance, ensuring patient engagement activities are evaluated regularly with actionable insights shared across all relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitating patient collaboration in project delivery and training programmes—empowering individuals to champion their own health needs.
