Bilingual Patient Navigator (Clinical Trials) – Dutch & French

📍 Location: Global (Remote) 🕒 Employment Type: Flexible Independent Contract

⏳ Commitment: Part-time (0.1/0.2 FTE / ~4–8 hours per week initially), with potential for growth


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, tech-savvy, and empathetic Bilingual Patient Navigator (PN) based anywhere in Europe. This flexible, part-time contract role offers the perfect balance between freelance work and professional stability. As our study pipeline grows, your workload can evolve and expand.


Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Navigator, your core responsibilities span:

  • Participant Support & Retention
    • Manage a dynamic live inbound/outbound call environment.
    • Build trusting relationships with participants and their caregivers in both French and Dutch.
    • Address protocol questions, manage study logistics, and provide emotional support.
    • Key focus: Ensuring participants feel valued, informed, and supported.

  • Digital Campaign Prescreening
    • Conduct outbound telephone calls to pre-qualified digital leads within 1–2 business days.
    • Use IRB/EC-approved scripts to assess initial eligibility.
    • Handle site referrals and follow-ups to reduce site workload.

Core Tasks: ✔ Conduct bilingual (French & Dutch) navigational support for trial participants. ✔ Rapidly resolve queries related to trial schedules, logistics, and well-being. ✔ Triage urgent cases, escalating emergencies to clinical sites/HQ. ✔ Use a helpdesk platform to log interactions, manage tickets, and generate reports. ✔ Foster collaboration with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and study teams for smooth patient follow-ups.


Requirements & Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • 🗣️ Language Skills:

    • Native or professional fluency in English, Dutch, and French (spoken and written).
  • 🏥 Experience & Certifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience.
    • Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification required.
    • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations (Mental Health First Aid certification is a plus).
