An exciting 8-month fixed-term opportunity has become available for a Patient Pathway Lead within the Rheumatology and Metabolic Team.
This role offers an excellent chance to develop your skills and gain valuable experience within a specialist service.
About the Role
As a Patient Pathway Lead, you will act as a senior point of contact for the Access and Choice (A&C) team, working closely with clinical and nursing colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will help oversee patient pathways and support the effective running of services in accordance with Trust policies and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior point of contact for the Access and Choice (A&C) team.
- Work closely with clinical and nursing colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Oversee patient pathways.
- Support the effective running of services in accordance with Trust policies and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the Trust’s Access Policy is adhered to and that all administration-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, with remedial actions put in place where necessary.
- Responsible for the personal development planning and learning needs of the staff within their own administrative team.
- Manage any human resource issues.

Hours
This is a full-time position (1.0 WTE), working Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
Requirements
- Previous experience of leading a team and managing change.
- Resilient, motivated, organized.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills.
