Patient Relations Coordinator
Full-Time
What You'll Do
As a Patient Relations Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our efforts to create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone in our community. Your role will involve working closely with residents, families, and staff to foster open communication and enhance the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with residents through continual monitoring of overall satisfaction during their stay
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents' needs and preferences are met
- Advocate for residents' rights and ensure that their voices are heard in all aspects of their care
- Implement initiatives to improve the overall patient experience
- Manage difficult or emotional resident situations by identifying and resolving these problems in a timely manner
- Provide support and guidance to families during difficult transitions or times of need

What You'll Bring
Qualifications of a Patient Relations Coordinator include:
- 1-2 years experience in patient relations, customer service, or healthcare, preferably in a Long-Term Care setting
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
