Patient Sales Team Leader

We are looking for a truly exceptional consultative sales professional who has consistently delivered outstanding results and can demonstrate an exceptional ability to convert enquiries into booked consultations and ultimately treatment.
Whilst this role will naturally appeal to high-performing salespeople from private dental, we are equally interested in exceptional consultative salespeople from other sectors who can demonstrate a proven ability to convert inbound enquiries into appointments or sales. Dental experience is not essential. A proven ability to convert enquiries into appointments and sales is.
Dental by Design is a growing group of premium private dental clinics with ambitious expansion plans across London and the UK. We invest heavily in marketing, generating a high volume of quality inbound patient enquiries every month. Every enquiry represents a significant investment, and we are looking for someone who knows how to build trust quickly, overcome objections and consistently convert enquiries into patients.
This is far more than answering inbound enquiries. We are looking for someone who knows how to build trust, influence decisions and consistently convert opportunities into patients.
This is not high-pressure selling and it is not a call centre environment. It is premium, consultative consumer sales where trust, credibility and relationship building drive outstanding conversion rates.
Alongside your own sales performance, you will lead by example, helping to develop, coach and inspire other salespeople to achieve the same high conversion standards. This is a genuine opportunity to build and shape a high-performing patient sales team while progressing into a multi-site leadership role as the business expands.

The Role
You will:
- Convert inbound patient enquiries into booked consultations and treatments.
- Build rapport quickly with prospective patients considering significant treatment.
- Confidently handle objections and nurture enquiries until a decision is reached.
- Consistently achieve and exceed conversion targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Lead from the front by demonstrating outstanding sales performance.
- Support, coach and develop other sales team members as the department grows.
- Help build a high-performing sales culture as the business continues to expand.
What We're Looking For
This role is first and foremost about demonstrable sales performance.
Above all else, we are looking for exceptional sales ability. What matters most is your ability to build trust, convert enquiries into appointments and consistently deliver outstanding results.
You must be able to demonstrate:
- A proven, measurable track record of converting inbound enquiries into appointments or sales, with consistently high conversion rates.
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to close business without high-pressure sales techniques.
- The ability to influence, persuade and build trust over the telephone.
- Experience leading by example and helping others improve their sales performance.
- Commercial awareness, resilience and a highly target-driven mindset.
- The ability to clearly demonstrate your personal conversion rates, sales achievements and the value of business you have generated.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Experience within private dental, aesthetics, cosmetic surgery, fertility, private healthcare, financial services, luxury retail or other premium consumer sales environments would be advantageous. However, we are equally interested in exceptional sales professionals from other industries who can demonstrate outstanding sales ability and a history of consistently delivering results.

Applicants from Practice Management or Treatment Coordinator backgrounds are welcome. However, this role requires a demonstrable track record of personally converting enquiries into booked consultations and treatment. Operational or managerial experience alone is unlikely to be sufficient. If, however, you have combined those responsibilities with a genuinely outstanding personal sales record and can clearly evidence the treatment you have converted, we would be keen to hear from you.

- Monday to Saturday, with alternate Saturdays worked and a day off in lieu. As the team grows and your role develops into leadership, we expect the Saturday requirement to reduce over time.
