Patient Sales Team Leader

Dental by Design – Hammersmith, London (On Site)
£30,000–£45,000 Basic + Commission | Realistic OTE £45,000–£60,000+

About the Role

Consumer sales experience essential | Hands on telesales and leadership from day one | Multi site progression

Lead by example, convert enquiries into patients, and grow into a multi site leadership role as we expand across the UK.

Dental by Design is a growing group of premium private dental clinics expanding across London and beyond. We invest heavily in marketing, so every month brings a high volume of inbound patient enquiries. We are looking for a confident, high performing sales professional who can consistently convert enquiries into booked consultations and treatments, while demonstrating the leadership qualities to help build and develop our patient sales team as we grow.

Every lead costs money. Many callers are nervous, undecided or comparing clinics before committing several thousand pounds. Your job is to build trust, understand what matters to them, and confidently guide them towards a booking. This is not hard sell and it is not a call centre. It is consultative, results focused consumer sales.

This is a hands on leadership role from day one. You will be on the phones yourself, converting enquiries into booked consultations and treatments, while leading by example and setting the standard for the patient sales function. This is not a purely managerial post. You will be doing the telesales as well as helping to build, develop and grow the team around you. As the group expands across the UK, there is a genuine route into a multi site management role for the right person. This is a real opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to grow with the business, help shape a high performing sales team and take on significant responsibility as the business scales.

What you'll do

  • Handle inbound enquiries and build rapport quickly over the phone.
  • Convert enquiries into booked consultations, following up until a decision is reached.
  • Nurture undecided patients and handle objections with confidence.
  • Keep accurate CRM records and consistently hit conversion targets.
  • Lead by example, setting the benchmark for performance while helping to develop and grow the patient sales function.

What we're looking for

  • Proven telesales, appointment conversion or consumer sales experience, ideally selling high value services directly to consumers.
  • A proven track record of delivering results while inspiring confidence in others and leading by example, with the ambition and potential to progress into senior leadership.
  • A confident, personable communicator with native level spoken and written English.
  • Commercially aware, target driven and resilient under pressure.
  • Someone genuinely ambitious about building a long term career and growing with the business.
  • A background in private dental, aesthetics, cosmetic surgery, fertility, private healthcare, financial services or luxury retail would be highly advantageous, although we are equally interested in exceptional sales professionals from other consultative consumer sales backgrounds.

The package

  • £30,000–£45,000 basic depending on experience, plus an attractive commission structure.
  • Realistic OTE £45,000–£60,000+.
  • Full training and genuine progression towards multi site management as the group grows.
  • Full time, permanent, office based at our Hammersmith clinic.
  • Monday to Saturday with alternate Saturdays worked and a day off in lieu. As the team grows and your role develops into leadership, we expect the Saturday requirement to reduce over time.
