Patient Services Administrator

Patient Administrator – Radiology

Location: Leeds Hospital Department: Radiology Work Type: Permanent | Full Time Salary: £25,038 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week


About the Role

Are you a confident and customer-focused administrator passionate about great customer service? Nuffield Health is seeking individuals like you to join their extraordinary team dedicated to shaping the health of the nation.

As a Patient Administrator at Nuffield Health’s Leeds Hospital, you will be responsible for managing, analysing, and presenting patient and radiology data. While an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration (or equivalent) is preferred, it is not essential.


Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Administrator, you will:

  • Handle enquiries and general patient queries effectively
  • Greet and assist patients for Radiology appointments, verifying all patient details for accuracy
  • Manage communications with patients, Consultants, GPs, and secretarial teams
  • Coordinate and arrange Radiology appointments
  • Distribute Radiology reports to referring clinicians
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy in radiology systems
  • Utilise and maintain strong IT and keyboard skills, including database management
  • Provide secretarial services, including diary management
