Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Patisserie Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, baking, and food safety, with a keen eye for detail and presentation. This role involves creating exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our guests, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall excellence of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the development of new pastry menus and seasonal specials to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to during food preparation and handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section, including equipment and work surfaces.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
  • Assist with training junior staff members in pastry techniques and food safety procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
