Freelance Pattern Cutter
MOWALOLA is seeking an experienced freelance Pattern Cutter to join during an intensive development period ASAP
This is a short-term contract (approximately one month, with potential flexibility depending on project requirements) supporting the development of upcoming collections.
Role
We are looking for a highly skilled pattern cutter with strong womenswear experience and confidence working with jersey. The ideal candidate will be able to translate design concepts into production-ready patterns while collaborating closely with the design and atelier teams.

- Create first patterns from sketches, references, and draped toiles.
- Develop and refine patterns through multiple fit stages.
- Work closely with designers and machinists to achieve desired silhouettes and proportions.
- Amend and grade patterns where required.
- Prepare patterns for sampling and production handover.
- Support fittings and provide technical solutions throughout development.
