Prestige Pawnbrokers, one of the UK's leading luxury asset lenders and retailers, is looking for an experienced Pawnbroking Appraiser to join our thriving Gracechurch Street branch in the heart of the City of London.
Known for the Channel 4 series Posh Pawn, we specialise in luxury watches, fine jewellery, designer handbags and other high-value assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the world's most prestigious brands while building a rewarding career within a growing business.
About the Role
As a Pawnbroking Appraiser, you'll provide expert valuations for luxury assets while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You'll assess jewellery, luxury watches, diamonds, coloured gemstones and designer handbags for lending and purchasing, support luxury retail sales and build long-term customer relationships.
This is a full-time, on-site position, working Monday to Friday from our Gracechurch Street branch in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities
- Appraise luxury watches, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, handbags and other valuable assets
- Authenticate items and determine accurate lending and purchase values
- Deliver exceptional customer service in-store, over the phone and via email
- Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Promote and sell luxury pre-owned jewellery, watches and handbags
- Keep up to date with luxury market trends and product knowledge
- Ensure all transactions comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to branch performance and commercial success
About You
You'll ideally have experience within pawnbroking, luxury retail, jewellery, watches, auctions or another valuation-led environment.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience handling luxury watches, jewellery or high-value assets
- Strong valuation and research skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a target-driven mindset
- Confidence working with discerning clients
- A passion for luxury products and exceptional service
