If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential - whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or an exciting new direction, we offer opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

We’re one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with a network that covers more than 50 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Payment Products Commercialisation Manager.

You’ll be a member of the Global Payments Solutions team and be primarily responsible for driving product performance, owning product enhancement, and commercialisation initiatives for HSBC’s domestic and cross-border propositions across all HSBC markets.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you’ll:

  • Optimise the product growth and development roadmap, go-to-market and commercialisation strategy for payment products
  • Support end-to-end launch readiness strategy and planning for new products – and the expansion of existing products and capabilities: training, communications, and post-launch tracking
  • Drive enablement standards, including editorial tone of voice and content design. Support local product teams in the provision of clear, engaging product information, training resources and ongoing support
  • Understand commercial structuring, pricing models and commercial terms across different customer segments and regions to maximise revenue and market competitiveness
  • Monitor and influence commercial performance, identifying growth opportunities and addressing systemic adoption gaps across in-market products
  • Provide performance insights using AI, dashboards and reviews to track and share adoption, revenue, margin, pipeline, and client experience
  • Embed a strong risk and control culture in commercialisation activity, ensuring compliant client communications and disciplined execution aligned to internal product governance

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
