Wellingborough (Hybrid)
This role sits in our Private Payments team, supporting day-to-day payment activity that keeps our Private Bank running. It’s a fast-paced, detail-focused environment, with the chance to learn, add value early and work closely with colleagues across the business.
This is a six-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal. You will work onsite five days a week initially to embed training, after which you will have the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week. Office-based training will help you to learn quickly and build confidence – we want to set you up for success.
What sets this role apart?
This role is an excellent entry point into Private Banking payments with real responsibility. You will have structured, hands-on training with clear task progression and exposure to a range of payment types and internal stakeholders.

Your focus will include
- Processing domestic and international payments
- Setting up and maintaining standing orders
- Completing high-volume data entry with accuracy
- Resolving internal payment queries
- Supporting bankers and internal stakeholders
- Following processes to meet regulatory and operational standards
What we’re looking for
- Administration or data entry experience within a financial services environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive tasks
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work well in a team and take responsibility for your own work
- Payments or branch banking experience would be a plus
