Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) for Global Banking and Payments
The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) for Global Banking and Payments is responsible for the strategy, governance, architecture, and delivery of data and analytics solutions for Corporate Investment Banking and Payments businesses. We are focused on harnessing data to drive innovation and growth, unlocking client value, and positioning the franchise to lead in a rapidly evolving AI-enabled landscape.
Role Overview
As a Program Director in the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) team, you will be responsible for managing key Payments AI transformation initiatives across the group. You will lead the delivery of new and enhanced products, solutions, operating models and processes aligned to data across the Firm. You will program manage these strategic change initiatives from initiation through to completion, including planning, governance and delivery co-ordination with Product and Technology teams as well as other relevant firmwide groups.
This position will play a critical role in the evolution of the Firm’s payments products to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the advent of novel AI solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead large scale strategic change programs end-to-end from initiation through to delivery, ensuring adherence to required timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Partner with Product and Technology teams along with other relevant firmwide groups, to oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of strategic solutions
- Develop and communicate the program roadmap and priorities to key stakeholders and senior management
- Establish appropriate governance to oversee delivery of the program roadmap, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout
- Manage large cross-functional teams across the firm and drive accountability with Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions and firmwide stakeholders to deliver expected outcomes
- Design and track appropriate program success measures and metrics aligned to organizational goals, and communicate progress on these to senior management
- Identify and manage emerging program risks, issues and dependencies - proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain momentum & Ensure program data is correctly represented in the appropriate systems of record
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with stakeholders across lines of businesses and functional areas across the firm
- Lead high performing cross functional teams and effectively drive these teams towards delivery milestones
- Coach other team members and contribute to the wider group’s objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven strong years of industry experience
- Experience managing strategic or transformational change for business products
- Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of large scale, complex change programs
- Ability to build consensus and deliver programs in a highly collaborative, cross-functional and matrixed environment
- Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of functions
- Excellent leadership skills – of programs, initiatives, and delivery teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas / challenges effectively
- Line team management and cross-functional matrix management experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A strong product delivery and/or data and analytics background
- Experience and technical knowledge of AI, payments, data platforms, cloud
- Strong agile delivery experience in a productized environment
- Experience with using AI tools
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in Technology, Data Science, Engineering or other related area
