Job Title - Stripe Payments Analyst
Location – Bexhill or London

Role overview
As a Payments Analyst, you will play a key role in helping Hastings shape, monitor, and optimise its payment capability as we continue our transition to Stripe. Working closely with the Payments Manager, you'll provide operational insight, performance analysis, and payment expertise to improve customer outcomes, strengthen controls, and support a resilient payments operation.

You’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
- Hands-on experience using Stripe, including Stripe Dashboard and Radar, within a payments-focused environment
- Strong understanding of payment systems, gateways, card payment processing, and wider payment operations
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret payment data, identify trends, identify risks, and deliver actionable insights
- Knowledge of payment risk, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, operational controls, and payment performance optimisation
- Understanding of payment compliance requirements and industry standards, including PCI DSS, Bacs, and card scheme requirements
- Experience using reporting and data analysis tools, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across business functions and external partners

Essential skills/experience
