Job Description
You will work as a member of the payroll team on a range of accounting tasks in relation to the processing of Darktrace’s global payroll and benefits. You will ensure that all payroll and benefits journals are processed and take responsibility support with payroll month end.
What will I be doing
- Supporting on the accurate and timely processing of designated payrolls journals
- Responding on any queries around those journals you are responsible for
- Updating and reconciling the monthly SoFP and/or SoPL workbook
- Month end accruals and prepayment posting
- Assisting with all audits including group consolidated, parent and subsidiary individual audits
- Posting benefits and payroll invoices and any prepayment releases
- Supporting on Ad Hoc Reporting - STBV, PSA and Gender Pay Gap

What experience do I need
- AAT Level 4 required and ideally working towards ACCA/CIMA
- A background of working in a payroll or accounting team, preferably within a medium/large sized international company
- Proficiency in the use of Excel and Word, and advanced proficiency in accounting software and systems
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and able to prioritise work within defined timelines
- Confident in addressing and escalating matters with colleagues in order to resolve underlying issues
- Effective communication skills with finance and non-finance staff, collaborative, proactive and able to tackle both new and routine tasks
- Flexible working to accommodate key monthly deadlines at peak times
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply payroll data to improve processes and resolve issues
