Job Title: Part-Time Payroll Administrator
Location: Leicester
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week across 4 days)
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Office-based for the first 6 months, with hybrid working available thereafter.
An established and growing professional services organisation is looking to recruit a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join its friendly and supportive payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to manage a varied client portfolio while working within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to more complex payrolls.
- Plan and organise your own workload to meet payroll deadlines.
- Process new starters, leavers and payroll amendments.
- Calculate pay, statutory payments and deductions accurately.
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) returns to HMRC.
- Process workplace pensions, including Auto Enrolment duties and pension uploads.
- Complete year-end payroll activities, including P60s.
- Register new PAYE schemes where required.
- Liaise with HMRC regarding payroll-related matters.
- Build strong relationships with clients, responding to payroll queries by phone and email.
- Provide a high standard of customer service while ensuring payroll compliance.

About You
- A minimum of 1 year payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of current UK payroll legislation.
- Experience managing Auto Enrolment and workplace pensions.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
