Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our accounting team. Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Calculate and process employee benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings accurately.
- Liaise with HR and finance departments to gather and verify payroll information.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports and filings on schedule.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll data and information.
- Assist in payroll audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role within the accounting industry.
- Solid understanding of payroll practices, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel for data management and reporting.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various internal teams.
- Knowledge of employment law and employee benefits administration is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
