Payroll Administrator | London
£35,000 4 days in office/1 day at home
I'm currently partnering with an established organisation to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join a busy and collaborative payroll team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional looking to build on their experience within a high-volume environment. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation, and providing an excellent payroll service to employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll for 1,800+ employees
- Administer statutory payments including SMP, SSP, SPP and Shared Parental Pay
- Produce and reconcile payroll reports and support BACS processing
- Ensure PAYE, pension and HMRC compliance, including RTI submissions
- Support benefits administration and payroll deductions
- Assist with year-end processes, including P60s and P11Ds
- Resolve payroll queries and maintain accurate employee records
- Support payroll system updates, legislative changes and continuous process improvements
- Work closely with HR, Finance and other internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient payroll service

What they're looking for
- 2+ years' UK payroll experience
- Good knowledge of PAYE, pensions and UK payroll legislation
- Experience using payroll software (Resourcelink is desirable)
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to strict payroll deadlines
