Payroll and Pensions Administrator
Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join our accounting team. Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Administer pension schemes, including contributions, record keeping, and liaising with pension providers.
- Maintain accurate payroll and pension records and produce regular reports for management and statutory bodies.
- Respond to staff payroll and pension queries promptly and effectively, providing clear and supportive communication.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation, tax codes, and pension regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Support year-end payroll processes, including preparation of P60s and liaising with external auditors.

Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll administration within an accounting or HR environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, pension scheme administration, and relevant legislation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with staff and external partners.
