The Role
The Payroll Associate will support payroll processing and administration activities across EMEA and APAC. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop payroll and international operations experience while working closely with employees, vendors, and internal teams to ensure payroll data is processed accurately and on time.
How You’ll Help Take Us There
- Administer payroll activities across EMEA and APAC locations, ensuring payroll data is processed accurately and in accordance with established payroll calendars.
- Collect, review, validate, and prepare payroll inputs, including employee changes, compensation updates, benefits deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data changes are accurately documented and processed.
- Partner closely with local payroll providers (including Briddge, Black Mountain, and other vendors) to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
- Review payroll reports and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including payroll reconciliations, statutory filings, tax documentation, and employee reporting requirements.
- Validate statutory and voluntary deductions to ensure compliance with local payroll and tax regulations.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll-related questions across EMEA and APAC.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure payroll processes are aligned and operating effectively.
- Maintain payroll documentation and support internal and external audit requests.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in payroll-related projects and system enhancements.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and data privacy requirements.

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of payroll, HR operations, finance, or related experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Exposure to international payroll processing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll fundamentals, payroll controls, and payroll compliance practices.
- Advanced attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation activities.
- Experience working with payroll systems and third-party payroll providers is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is £55,000 GBP to £80,000 GBP. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
