Payroll & Benefits Officer
Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Officer Program: Luxury Retail Brand – Permanent Role
Mapped Recruitment is partnering with a luxury retail brand on their search for a Payroll & Benefits Officer to join their team permanently.
About the Role
Successful candidates must have worked in a high-volume payroll environment and ideally hold experience with SAP HR/Workday (UK Payroll).
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Payroll Manager, supporting a high-volume payroll (approximately 1,500+ employees across Head Office and Stores).
- Work closely with HR to ensure compliance with Payroll & HR data.
- Set up and maintain the SAP HR system, managing:
- Starters, leavers, and amendments
- Sickness, absence, maternity, paternity, and variable cash/hours payments
- Benefits administration
- Act as the guarantor of SAP HR data quality, ensuring:
- Accurate loggings for seamless monthly payroll processing (timely and error-free)
- Reliable system functionality for associated tools
- Generate monthly reports for benefit providers.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure:
- All employees receive accurate and timely monthly payments
- Support staff by answering queries via the internal Intranet on:
- Pay, benefits, tax, National Insurance (NI), and other related topics
- Perform any other duties as required by the team.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of UK Payroll legislation is essential.
- Preference given to candidates with SAP HR/Workday experience.
