Job Title: Payroll Assistant
Elevation Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established business in the York area that is looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis, flexible part time hours between 15- 22 hours per week (either 2-3 days or 5 shorter days considered)
Location: York
Salary: Up to £35,000
Hours: Part Time Hours (between 15- 22 hours)

Reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for processing end to end weekly & monthly payroll for employees, processing starters/leavers monthly payroll journals and & being the point of contact for all payroll queries. As well as managing accounts up to trail balance, bank reconciliations, journals and accruals etc
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing for employees
- Accruals, Prepayments and bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts up to trail balance
- Managing starters and leavers
- Processing payroll journals
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries
