About The Payroll Client Manager Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Client Manager to join our Steyning office. This is an opportunity supporting the Payroll Team in providing an efficient and comprehensive payroll service to clients.
Key responsibilities of a Payroll Client Manager will include:
- Supporting the Payroll Team in providing an efficient and comprehensive payroll service to clients
- Day-to-day administration of client payrolls to include RTI submissions and end of year reporting
- Processing starters, leavers, SMP, SPP, SSP etc.
- Uploading pension contributions
- Assisting with reviewing and checking of payrolls
- Assisting Payroll Manager with the setup of pension schemes and any new payrolls
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Meeting strict deadlines and processing all work with a high degree of accuracy
About You

- Experience with IRIS Payroll Professional preferred
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Awareness of confidentiality and need for discretion
- Comprehensive understanding of pensions and automatic enrolment
- Ability to manually calculate payroll results and explain calculations/breakdown to clients
- Confident in talking to people to build client relationships
- Thorough knowledge of payroll related legislation such as PAYE, NI, family leave etc.
