Payroll Specialist
Location: Cheadle, South Manchester Contract: Full Time (Monday – Friday)

The Role: Payroll Administrator / Payroll Assistant
Work closely with the Payroll & Credit Control Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for a large contractor workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing weekly payroll for temporary workers and contractors
- Checking and validating timesheets
- Supporting invoice generation and payroll reporting
- Collaborating with recruitment teams
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and databases
- Assisting with credit control and finance administration as required
- Ensuring payroll deadlines are met consistently

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in payroll, finance administration, or accounts (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ** Excellent organisational skills**
- Ability to work to weekly deadlines
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Confident communicator with a professional manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- (Advantageous, but not essential) Experience in recruitment payroll
