About The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of the payroll process across the UK and EMEA region, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services. Working in a highly hands-on capacity, you will manage end-to-end payroll activities, liaising closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure a seamless employee experience. This opportunity is ideally suited to a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking responsibility for payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing across multiple international locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, processing joiners, leavers, and monthly payroll changes.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and external providers to support payroll submissions, approvals, and issue resolution.
  • Administer payroll-related statutory requirements, benefits, and pension processes in line with relevant regulations.
  • Support payroll reporting, audits, system administration, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll operations.

Experience And Skills

  • Previous payroll experience (2–3 years+) with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and payroll best practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll and finance systems, ideally including ADP, iHCM, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident working independently, managing priorities effectively, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with knowledge of payroll reconciliations and compliance processes being advantageous.
