About The Role

We are working with R3vamp Limited to find a Payroll Customer Support Advisor. This role is vital in providing first-line support to clients, ensuring their payroll-related queries are addressed promptly and accurately. As a Payroll Customer Support Advisor, you will handle a small portfolio of clients whose payroll processes have been impacted, working closely with internal teams to investigate issues, resolve errors, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This position offers the flexibility of remote working within the UK, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively. The initial training period will last four weeks, during which comprehensive onboarding will be provided to familiarize you with the company’s systems and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that payroll services are delivered smoothly, problems are resolved efficiently, and clients feel supported throughout their payroll journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in payroll support, payroll administration, or customer service within a payroll environment. You should have a solid understanding of payroll processes, calculations, and common issues that arise in payroll management. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with clients and internal teams to clarify issues and provide solutions. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy in resolving payroll discrepancies and errors. While experience with specific payroll systems is not mandatory, familiarity with payroll software or related tools is advantageous. A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are also key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to clients regarding payroll queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies, calculation errors, and system issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining payroll processes and solutions clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, issues raised, and resolutions provided for audit and quality purposes.
  • Assist in the identification of recurring issues and suggest improvements to streamline payroll support processes.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on payroll policies, procedures, and system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards related to payroll processing and data security.
