Payroll Executive

About the Role

As a Payroll Executive in the professional services industry, you will be responsible for managing and processing payrolls efficiently while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Description

  • Accurately process payrolls for a portfolio of clients within agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including tax and pension contributions.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide clear resolutions to clients and employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and year-end procedures.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of payroll software and system updates.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting and finance team to ensure seamless operations.

Profile

A Successful Payroll Executive Should Have

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
