About the Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to join their client in Beverley, Humberside. This fully supported and trained role has scope to benefit the successful candidate with expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
The following skills and experience are essential:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll
- Checking employee working hours
- Handling holiday, sick, maternity pay, and expenses
- Calculating overtime, shift payments, and pay increases
- Deducing tax and National Insurance contributions
- Answering client queries
- Calculating and issuing electronic payments
- Issuing P45s, tax forms (P32/HMRC-related), CIS returns, and month-end forms

- Real-time Information (RTI) submissions (weekly/fortnightly/monthly)
- Year-end procedures (e.g., P60 forms, PAYE coding notices)
- Dealing with HMRC on behalf of the client
Additionally, the role may involve:
- Offering payroll-related advice, such as tax exemption claims or maternity pay assistance
- Supporting HR functions, including helping new recruits with payroll setup and managing staff departures (e.g., P45 generation)
Experience & Skills Needed
Candidates must demonstrate expertise in all core annual and monthly payroll functions. Although prior experience of supporting HR functions is not necessary, applicants must be confident undertaking payroll calculations, understanding regulatory obligations, and an ability to deliver accurate results within strict deadlines.
