Payroll & Finance Analyst, 12 months FTC

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Payroll & Finance Analyst to come onboard to manage the processing payroll across our UK and European locations and support the financial operations team with data processing. You will be the first point of contact for all payroll related queries and will be responsible for ensuring all administration is accurate to enable the smooth running of the function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global payroll processing for 250+ employees.
  • Maintain accurate payroll processing system and records by collating, checking, calculating and preparing payroll input data such as joiners, leavers and existing employee changes, ensuring accuracy, validity of supporting documentation and compliance with authorisation procedures.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in payroll reports in a timely manner.
  • Supporting in the integration of HR and Payroll software.
  • Data processing, audit and reporting. Checking of payroll reports produced by external provider ready for submission and approval for payment.
  • Presenting monthly payroll changes and estimate for Senior Management approval.
  • Pension administration duties for UK, Hungary, Denmark and partially for Spain, Poland and Netherlands.
  • Liaising with O2C and P2P Manager you will support the team with the several tasks during payroll lower activity monthly cycle.
  • Processing of employee T&E claims.
  • Supplier master data management.
  • Pay cycle support and supplier invoicing processing.
  • Ad hoc duties. Month end preparation of payroll journal and reconciliation for finance close, payroll reporting for management reports metrics and statistics and provide ad hoc support to the Group Financial Controller.
  • Uploading net pay file for UK into online Banking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with HR and other departments.
  • Manage all payroll related queries proactively resolving them or escalating when necessary.

What You'll Bring

  • Good knowledge of payroll practices with experience of payroll processing, preferably with exposure to both UK and International payroll.
  • Team player, approachable and good communicator.
  • Flexible scheduling of workdays to accommodate important payroll deadlines.
  • Prior experience of data processing in Finance systems.
  • Experience gained within an international group is desirable.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong Excel skills, advanced user including pivot tables and v-look ups.
  • Comfortable dealing with International HR and Payroll Providers.
  • Able to display sensitivity, discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters concerning remuneration and benefits.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are a plus.

Where You'll Work

We operate a hybrid working model, with the team office based 3 days per week. To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we ask team members to be in the office on Mondays & Thursdays (with flexibility on the 3rd office workday) but offering flexibility is a core value of our team and business.

Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. On-site parking, bike shelters and showers/changing facilities are also available.
