Payroll & HR Specialist

Hybrid – Farringdon, London (1 day per week)
£45,000–£50,000 + Benefits

JGA are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fast-growing international technology business to recruit a Payroll & HR Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to join a collaborative, people-focused organisation where payroll will be your primary responsibility, whilst also gaining exposure to HR administration. The business operates a hybrid working model, requiring just one day per week in their Farringdon office, with all travel costs covered.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the People team, you'll coordinate payroll across the UK and US through an outsourced payroll provider, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Alongside payroll, you'll support a range of HR administration activities throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate UK and US payroll through an outsourced payroll provider.
  • Prepare and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Process payroll changes including new starters, leavers, salary amendments, and benefits.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and liaise with the payroll provider.
  • Support HR administration across onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and HR data.
  • Produce reports and analyse payroll information using Excel.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
