Job Description: Payroll Officer
Salary: £25,989 - £28,142 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Duration: FIXED TERM for 9 months
Location: Preston, Lancashire
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a methodical and highly efficient Payroll Officer (Service Control) to work within the Payroll Service at Lancashire County Council.
If you have a wealth of payroll knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage colleagues, then this is the perfect opportunity to develop your career in the world of payroll. Our main focus is to provide service excellence reaching our daily targets, working to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Our service provides support to over 33,000 employees working in public sector organisations and Service Control plays a vital part in achieving our goals.
It is an exciting time to join us as we benefit from new software such as Oracle Fusion, exploring the possibilities and functions of this database to use to our advantage. You will be a proactive technical expert striving for the best possible outcomes, keeping in line with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations.
