£45,000 - £55,000
We're looking for a Payroll and People Manager to join the team. We currently operate 7 restaurants, with 4-6 new openings planned over the next 12 months, including 2 new concepts. This role is essential to the smooth running of our People function, making sure our teams are paid correctly and on time, every time.
Payroll and People Manager Requirements
- Payroll: owning end-to-end payroll processing across fortnightly and monthly pay runs, including Tronc, statutory payments and HMRC compliance
- Rotas and reporting: working with Operations on weekly rotas, providing payroll cost analysis and reporting to the Financial Controller
- HR administration and compliance: maintaining accurate employee records, issuing contracts and offer letters, and supporting right to work compliance
- Audit and compliance: reconciling payroll and PAYE balance sheet accounts monthly, and keeping on top of changes to payroll and tax law
- People team support: acting as a key user of our HR system and a go to point of contact for payroll and HR queries

- Calm under pressure, energised by juggling lots of moving parts at once
