18-Month FTC (to Perm) Payroll Specialist

This 18-month FTC (to Perm) is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to support UK & Ireland payroll and benefits for a well-known consumer business, ensuring accurate payroll delivery, compliance, and reporting. The role combines payroll, benefits administration, analytics, and process improvement, while partnering closely with HR and Finance during an exciting period of business growth and transformation.

Description

  • Manage the end-to-end UK & Ireland payroll process through ADP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Administer employee benefits, including pensions, private medical insurance, and life assurance.
  • Produce payroll, reward, and headcount reporting, using advanced Excel to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Support annual processes including P11Ds, PSA submissions, Gender Pay Gap reporting, and compensation reviews.
  • Partner with HR and Finance on payroll reconciliations, audits, budgeting, and process improvements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll and benefits queries, delivering a high level of service to employees and stakeholders.

Profile

A Successful Payroll Specialist Should Have

  • Ideally 4 - 6 years experience managing end-to-end UK payroll, with Ireland payroll experience advantageous.
  • Experience using ADP, Workday, Oracle, or SAP payroll systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze large volumes of data and produce meaningful insights.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory requirements.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfortable working onsite five days per week in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
