Payroll/Bookkeeping Administrator
Experienced Bookkeeper/Payroll Assistant
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team here at Office Support.
Responsibilities
- Day to day bookkeeping activities
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Regular communication with clients regarding their bookkeeping duties
- Contacting client customers or suppliers as required
- Liaising with HMRC
- Full-cycle payroll processing

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of basic VAT, employee tax, and pension regulations, with the ability to research and consult specialists when needed
- Adherence to confidentiality and data protection practices
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
- Proficiency in computerised payroll packages and Microsoft Excel
- Preferable but not essential experience with Sage Accounts or Xero software
