Location: Chesterfield
Role Type: Fully Employed, Office Based, Fully Onsite
About the Role
This opportunity positions you to design and develop advanced PCB (Printed Circuit Board) solutions for industrial applications in a supportive onsite environment.
Responsibilities
- Design analogue and digital electronic circuits for industrial needs
- Develop PCB layouts, including multi-layer designs with precision
- Select components while considering lifecycle and availability
- Work closely with embedded software engineers on hardware–software integration
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams and external suppliers
- Maintain robust documentation in compliance with standards such as ISO 9001

Qualifications
- Proven experience in electronic circuit design and PCB layout
- Proficiency in tools like Altium, KiCad, or alternatives
- Deep understanding of mixed-signal design principles
- Strong debugging and fault-finding skills
- Awareness of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements
- Knowledge of design for manufacture (DFM) principles
- Ability to work full-time on-site, utilising lab and test equipment
- Willingness to travel as needed
