PCV Bus Driver
At Arriva Bootle, our Bus Drivers are at the heart of the communities we serve. Whether it’s getting children to school or commuters to work. You’ll connect our customers to what matters to them. Providing excellent customer service and making a real difference in communities. We’re one team, moving forwards together to make travelling by bus the best choice for our customers.
You’ll have a PCV licence, but don’t worry if you’ve never driven a bus before. We’ll provide all the training you need to get up to speed. For experienced PCV Drivers we offer an hourly rate £17.00. We’re offering full-time opportunities with potential for overtime if you’d like to take additional hours.

About You
You’ll be over 18 with at least 12 months driving experience with no more than 6 points on your licence and have a PCV licence. If you don’t already have you licence we are also recruiting for Trainees so your application will still be considered. So, if you’re passionate about great customer service and want to help support your local communities then we’d love to hear from you. The role will be shift-based, so you’ll need to be prepared to work early, evenings and weekends. Next stop, Arriva

Hours Of Work
5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts. Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis. We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately. Overtime available at request / availability.
