Responsibilities
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician at ground level will involve:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections using standardised checklists on all vehicles.
- Conducting collection checks to ensure vehicles are customer-ready before delivery.
- Executing minor services and repairs as needed.
- Accessorising vehicles appropriately.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Meeting Pentagon’s high quality and manufacturer standards.
- Reporting additional repairs or safety concerns to the Workshop Manager.

This role operates Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Person Specification
We’re looking for the perfect fit for our team—your ideal candidate should have:
- Previous workshop experience (essential).
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures diligently.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- A team player mentality with enthusiasm.
While City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 Vehicle Repair or equivalent is advantageous, it’s not obligatory. Team training will be provided to supported progression.
