Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm

Salary: £39,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: September 2026

About the Role

At Reddish Hall School, we believe that physical education is about far more than fitness—it's about building confidence, resilience, teamwork and self-belief. We are looking for a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a lasting difference to the lives of young people aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional SEND.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver an engaging, inclusive PE curriculum that encourages every pupil to achieve success, develop healthy lifestyles and experience the positive impact of physical activity in a safe and supportive environment.

As our PE Teacher, you'll plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that are creative, accessible and tailored to meet the individual needs of our pupils. You'll create positive learning experiences that help young people develop physically, socially and emotionally while building their confidence and resilience.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Adapt learning to meet a wide range of SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Foster teamwork, resilience, confidence and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
  • Assess, monitor and celebrate pupil progress, supporting accreditation where appropriate.
  • Safely transport pupils to and from off-site PE facilities, following safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety procedures.
  • Build positive relationships using trauma-informed and relational approaches.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities, sporting activities and the wider life of the school.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
