We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester with strong technical testing experience across web applications, mobile applications, APIs and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be comfortable delivering end-to-end penetration testing engagements, working directly with clients and producing clear, practical reports.
Responsibilities
- Deliver penetration tests across web applications, mobile applications, APIs and infrastructure
- Identify, exploit and clearly document security vulnerabilities
- Produce detailed technical reports with practical remediation advice
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work directly with clients to scope and deliver security testing engagements
- Support junior testers and provide technical guidance where required
- Ensure testing is completed in line with agreed methodologies, timescales and quality standards

Essential Experience
- Strong commercial penetration testing experience
- Web application penetration testing
- Mobile application testing across iOS and/or Android
- API security testing, including REST and GraphQL APIs
- Internal and external infrastructure testing
- Strong understanding of OWASP testing methodologies
- Experience using tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit and common security testing frameworks
- Excellent report writing and client-facing communication skills

Desirable
- Current or previous CHECK Team Leader status
- CREST certifications such as CRT, CPSA, CCT APP or CCT INF
- Experience leading penetration testing engagements
- Cloud security testing experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Red team, social engineering or wireless testing experience
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other testers
