Role: Penetration Tester (CHECK Team Leader)

Location: United Kingdom - Remote

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Summary:

We're working with a growing UK cyber security consultancy delivering penetration testing services to government and public sector organisations.

They're looking for a CHECK Team Leader, or a strong CHECK Team Member ready to step into the role, to take on ownership across scoping, delivery, and quality. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tester with active SC clearance who wants to lead engagements and act as a technical point of contact for clients.

Whether you're already CTL accredited or a CTM with a few years of experience ready to make the jump, this is a chance to move into a leadership role on a broad range of challenging engagements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
