Job Title/Location: Pensions Administration Team Leader, London + WFH

Salary: To £52,000
Office/WFH: Office based 2 days p/w + 3 days p/w WFH

Requirements:
DB pensions administration, manual calculations & team lead experience essential

Role Snapshot:

Deputising for the Manager in running a team of 6-10 pensions administrators that process all aspects of DB and DC membership administration.

The Role:

The focus on this Pensions Administration Team Leader role is to take on line management responsibilities, which may include objective-setting, training and 1:1 reviews. The team focuses on processing, mainly DB and some DC casework and you will allocate and check the work produced by others for accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively monitor the team’s performance on a daily basis
  • Manage members of the team as required – supporting, motivating and encouraging as necessary
  • Provide technical assistance to the team for complex pensions admin tasks, providing overflow checking support
  • Process all aspects of the member service and provide members with information, correspondence and support as requested
  • Produce stewardship reports within the required timescales
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of DB & DC administration, including practical experience of benefit calculations, contracting-out and the Pension Freedoms
  • Participate in new business exercises, representing the company to external prospects and clients

Skills / Experience Required:

For this Pensions Administration Team Leader role you must have solid DB pensions admin and manual calculations experience, with DC experience also required. You will also have previous team lead experience.

Additional Information:

Salary for the Pensions Administration Team Leader role is to £52,000 + professional study support and company pension. As mentioned above, the average working week would be 2 days office and 3 days WFH. Please apply below.
